Please pray for Debra. She is having surgery for a serious form of cancer in the next few weeks after she gets her diabetic A1C counts down to a normal range. Prayer for a successful surgery and a healing of the disease would be greatly appreciated. Debra is a longtime Christian with a strong faith.
Jesus the Christ is Lord and King (1st Corinthians 12:3). Saved Evangelical Free over 43 years ago. Please pray that God extend the protections in Psalms 69, 37, and 23 over me as I witness to those in a very dark city. Daily I face JWs, Mormons, Muslims, Atheists, Wiccans, Satanists, and more who are in positions of power and authority over me. I likewise witness to the same who have no power over me. Lately the persecution has increased beyond the slander, false charges, and insults that I've grown to expect. 2nd Timothy 3:1-5 touches upon what I believe we are all now facing. Daily my evangelism is becoming more public as I face increased resistance. In this I suppose Christians are made manifest. Thankfully there are a few others in my area doing the same. Lately, the slander and other attacks have escalated to threatened and attempted physical attacks that I am not certain I was supposed to survive. Some of those who slander me manage the place where I live. Others live there. Ask Christ to give me peace and to likewise extend it to those out there who face even greater challenges than I.
